Export
To export 3D models from CATIA, you can follow these steps:
- Open the CATIA file containing the 3D model you want to export.
- Make sure the model is in the correct orientation and view that you want to export.
- Go to the File menu and select Export. This will open the Export dialog box.
- In the Export dialog box, select the STEP file format.
- Choose the location where you want to save the exported file and enter a name for it.
- Click the Save button to export the 3D model.

Data integration
You have the choice to transfer extra data, which is possible through exporting data from Catia in csv format, such as:
- Material specification
- Assemblies
- Panels
