Prefab becomes more and more important on the welding workfloor.
Having direct access to the correct information and being able to see the 3D construction minimizes questions and errors. Being used to loads of paperwork, unnecessary communication, unclear welding information and not-fitting parts, Willems Jachtbouw, a yacht building company, thought it was time to improve their building preparation by using prefab.
‘Onepush takes care of our building preparations,’ says Hans van den Berk, Head Production at Willems Jachtbouw. Faultless models, well fitting metal parts and working direct from 3D images are all great improvements they made possible. And the results are already showing.

‘One of the most important aspects they added are the automated weld patterns and profile markings on the metal plates. A welder instantly knows what to do, instead of calculating and drawing markings himself. This makes a huge difference in preparation and communication time and it ensures the quality of our welding work. And, maybe even more important: it just makes the welders happy: being able to work better and faster’, he says.
